rhiannan

I'm a wedding photographer, though I use that term loosely.

What I'm really doing is documenting a group of people who love each other, celebrating together. The clothing, the flowers, the perfectly set tables, that's all beautiful and I'll capture it. But it's not what gets me out of bed.

What really excites me about this work is the genuine human story happening underneath all of it. The fact that weddings are full of unrepeatable moments. The ones that aren't on any shot list, that nobody noticed happening, that will never happen again exactly like that.

On your wedding day I show up, and for all intents and purposes I'm just another one of your guests. I move through your day quietly, building trust and comfort so I can get close to the moments that matter. I'm not there to interrupt your day or manufacture something. I'm there to observe it, follow it, and document it honestly.

The most memorable photograph from your wedding won't be the posed one. It won't be the planned one. It'll be the one nobody saw coming, the deeply personal, unrepeatable moment that just happened, because you were present enough to let it.
